I love the touch of the DC-3. First designed & built in 1937, of the 12,000 + built, there must only be some 10 to 20 still flying at this time (or are you gong retro, Jake, and placing your story in the 1940s?)

I've alwasy envisoned this comic as taking place in a kind of "retro modern" world like Paul Dini's Batman and Superman series. Somethings are very modern, suuch as Gwenna's laptop seen in the second page of the Serpent Sorceress and the fourteenth page of Ro-Man. Yet we have some very retro elements like the planes and the relatively primitive conditions the natives live in.
