Here are some more characters I created quite some time ago and finally have an excuse to incorporate into the comic. Captain Charles is an amateur archeologist with a bit of hangup as you will see. His daughter Ophelia helps him run the old plantation as a safari base camp and bed and breakfast.

I always found the old forward controls quite fascinating, although they are more trucks then cars. My parents had a sr2a 109, but a sixcylinder and the facelift with the headlamps in the wing.

BTW, did Captain Charles paint his doors blue, specifically so that it looks as if he's an incarnation of the Doctor stepping out of the TARDIS? ;-)

I see the Captain step out of a blue door with high windows with a young woman standing beside him. All sorts of Doctor-5 vibes there, but his house is a little bigger on the outside than the inside, right? Hmm, does he revere Louis Leakey?
