Lady Venus is a character I created back in 2013, she was supposed to be a Golden Age mystery woman, like Phantom Lady. Her "costume" was just a pair of feather fans, inspired by the fan dance of burlesque legend Sally Rand. I never did finish that story with her, but I did like the character, so the idea of reusing her as Kaza's mother seemed like a good fit.
