I'm trying a few things out with this story. I'm playing around with a much cartoonish style of art, inspired by some of Dan Decarlo's work on Archie. Plus I'm taking advantage of ComicFury's multi-image formatting to get more story done in a single sitting.
The backstory involves some more characters from Cryptida. Julius Baltimore was featured in the Cryptids in Space story. Bettina "Tiny" Timmy is a regular character both in Cryptida, and plays a main role in both Childhood's End and Playground
I'd been working on it for a few days before I commented on the Think Tank. But since I'm not doing as many panels at one time (there were only three per image here) it did make it slightly easier. Or maybe this could be something akin to Terry Pratchett's "800 words a day" thing where he avoids putting pressure on himself to produce a big chunk of words each day.
It has been a long time since I've commented on this website, I guess it won't be long before we'll be introduced to Kaza's Natari lover & their lovechild. huh?
(Does the new style allow you to draw faster than usual?)
New storyline, style evo and a crossover!
I'm hooked already!
Does that have a deeper meaning in-comic that I'm missing?
(If I'm wrong, I'm wrong...) :)
