Yep. Kaza and Gwenna are fighting a vampire with an army of zombies at his command. Seemed like an appropriate story for this time of year.

Van Horn is another public domain character I've lifted. He's from an American Comic Group (ACG) horror title called Out of the Night #5.

OK, one question, with a bit of preparation: Van Horn wears a pullover - it'll be still weird but I can imagine that there are slits in the back to put the wings through. The original Van Horn wears a shirt and a jacket... It would still not be impossible but it's a lot more of a stretch. Is that why you changed his outfit?

Partially, but I'm going with the assumption Van Horn can change forms, so his wings can disappear when needed.

Yeah, magical wings are next option, but these wings look physically solid... Hm... It would work if hi clothes were (a) magical (illusion), too...

(All this reminds me of a person I thought about long time ago. He had energy wings: Visibly yellowish glowing when active, weightless, they get created outside of body and clothes, had the form of bird wings and were otherwise solid enough to move air. As long as I am cocerned, I'd put the idea into public domain but I'm not sure that it's different enough from other fliers to be unique and thus freely usable.
