BTW, I find it interesting that you have Clarissa calibrate the coordinates via computer.
I think my original idea was that you simply could put in the coordinates via a dial on the teleporter itself. (Which is good to see here in panel 1.)
But I guess if the software on the laptop has a well designed interface, this way it may be far more comfortable, and also a good way to double-check if there isn't a mistake in the coordinates.
(Nevertheless, it seems a layman would still need explanation regarding how the coordinate calibrating software works...)

Maybe Clarissa's upgraded them with Bluetooth configuration? So it's easier to reconfigure them via any computer or a phone app so you don't have a situation like this.

Hmmm, that would open a lot of possibilities....
For example, the app on Device A (e.g. the phone you Bluetooth-access the teleporters with while in the field) could have an option for having a Device B at the target destination transmit its own coordinates to Device A. So, if Device B is the computer on the (moveable!) boat, it now acts as a homing beacon for the return journey!

Meanwhile, dig all the bigots on both sides of that great divide in the background. I see no technology in the vicinity capable of dealing with that; ...

And I am caught up here. I must say the circle gets wider and wider. I started with Grinder$ to Ariane's Private Place to Theater of the Bloody Tongue, to Cryptida, to Playground and Kaza and a whole host of others. And, I still have a bunch of the older comics yet to read.
